Matt has dabbled with a few different styles of musical composition ever since getting his first Casio keyboard at a very young age. Most of the recorded stuff you'll find here was created with tracker software, initially on an Amiga 500 and then, later, Buzz Machines or Propellerhead Reason on the PC. In a few rare instances Matt even tried his hand (or voice) at singing lyrics to a couple.
Strut on over to the Music page to start listening. You can continue viewing other pages once the music has started.

During the late '80s, early '90s Matt also made a lot of amature videos (no, not that sort of video!), which usually ended up being edited down to music, or was a parody of a music video.
You can find a good selection of these on the Movies page, go fetch the popcorn.

Matt has had an eclectic selection of vehicles in his youth, some being customised beyond belief, as well as a more recently restored MGB GT. Go have a look on the Motors page, if you're curious.

Motors

In the beginning there was the Mk2 Escort...

At first it almost resembled a normal Mk2 Escort, originally all white, I just had to customise it in some way so... lights on, bumper off, boot lid sprayed...

After a few more identity crisis' it ended up looking a little bit like an American police car, only considerably smaller and less detailed. Until finally, it bit the dust at Smallfield banger track.

A Mini adventure

Fun while it lasted, no floor in the boot, however. Still, I got the £200 I was asking, though I did include a new floor panel.. for DIY fitting...

There was a second mini but I have no pictures. At least, no pictures of it intact. It came along a few cars later, from Wales, ex granny, who was so short it had wooden blocks on the peddles!

Little to large

From the tiny Mini to the large Granada.

Originally blue, the new paint job was going to be graphite/gold/graphite, but I never did finish the top half before I moved on to my next motor. (the next one was the 2nd mini but, alas, no pictures.)

This one also features in my "Cars" video (and a few others).

Orange is the new...

I didn't have any photos of this one either, but luckily it was caught on video a couple of times... After this one came a Skoda Estelle and then a Proton Aeroback, neither of which were photographed...

The project

In 2007 (ish) I got myself an old MGB GT. I then spent a few years (and much money) doing a rolling restoration on it. I had a couple of years fun out of it before the gearbox started playing up. Having removed it for repair, the car then sat unloved in the garage for about 8 years until I finally decided to sell it on.

The rest

Finally settling down a little, most of the cars got "boring". There was the Mondeo, then a Celica (during my midlife crisis phase). Followed by a CLK, a Ford Maverick, a Jaaaag, a Volvo XC70, an X-Trail, a BMW X1, a Mokka X and, now, a SEAT Ateca.

Two wheel fun

I started out on a Honda MB-5 from the day I turned 16. I had a couple of 125's and then went straight up to a CB900 on passing my test.

Very few of my bikes got photographed, but here's some that did.

The first is yer basic CBR600, easily capable of 145MPH+, err, or so I'm told ;-)
Next is my chopper, rebuilt (in the dining room!) from an incomplete project I picked up. Was fun for a while but tough on the butt with no rear suspension.

More recently was a Yamaha XJ900, my daily London commute that survived a couple of typical London driver "incidents" (as did I).
